You found the time and space to nestle into that favourite place with a captivating book and a divine chocolate…enjoying a Divine moment. But what do you do now with the beautiful Divine wrap? Since designing and creating the wrap we have felt a desire and need to share with you ways to re-use these gorgeous wraps. Recently we found that one of our customers shared that same vision. The fantastic team at Renaissance Organic Hair in Nelson who create a divine experience for their customers with a complimentary Divine Chocolate to enjoy during their appointment, keep all the wrappers and get creative with them.
The design of the Divine Chocolate wrap was based on Origami principles and so its seems natural that we re- create the wrap using Origami. It is the right time of year for this creation: The DIVINE Christmas Angel. Thanks Renaissance.
The equipment you will need.
- 2 x Divine Chocolate wrappers
- 1 x wooden bead
- A needle to make a hole and something to make the hole bigger ( I have used a large wool needle)
- 1 x 20mm length of thread. I used gold elastic
Take the concertina wrap and make a hole on either side of the fold. Use a smaller needle (you may need to do it one fold at a time) then enlarge the hole with a larger needle of something similar.
Repeat the process above. A 8-9mm fold. Make sure your fold is along the shorter side of the rectangle. Create concertina effect. Fold concertina in half and make holes either side of the fold.
Have a Merry Christmas.
